Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
When a visitor enters a name or date of birth into a search box, that information is sent to the third-party provider that operates the tool. The provider processes the query and returns results under its own rules. Lawrence County Warrant Records does not store or log the terms entered into those partner searches.
Messages and Contact Submissions
If you email the site, the message may be kept so the team can respond. It is handled within the organization and is not shared outside it unless a legal duty requires disclosure.
Data We Gather Automatically
Technical details may be recorded when a browser loads a page, including:
- The visitor’s IP address.
- Browser name and version.
- Device type and operating system.
- Pages viewed and time spent on them.
- The referring website, when one is provided.
- Time and date of page requests.
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files saved by a browser. The site uses them and analytics services to understand general traffic, such as which pages receive visits and where sessions end. Browser settings can block cookies, though some site functions may then work differently.
What We Do With This Data
- Keep pages available and improve loading.
- Send a search request to the provider that powers that tool.
- Review which pages readers use and where content needs attention.
- Find and repair technical faults.
- Display advertising that may reflect general visitor interests.
No Warrant Data on File
This site does not host, compile, maintain, or sell a warrant database or personal warrant files. It explains where Lawrence County court and Sheriff records may be checked, including the county’s case portal, the municipal courts, and the Warrants Division’s in-person procedure. The county docket search is not a statewide warrant service.
The site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Visitor data is not assembled here into consumer reports or records about other people. Official warrant information remains with the government office that keeps it.
Third-Party Search Partners
Search widgets are operated by outside providers. Information entered there is handled under the provider’s privacy policy, not this policy. The partner sets its own retention and sharing practices. Lawrence County Warrant Records does not control those practices, so read the provider’s notice before sending a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links on the site lead to government court, Sheriff, city, and state pages, as well as third-party search tools. Opening an outside page takes you under that provider’s privacy terms. Check its policy before submitting personal information.
Advertising partners may use their own systems to track activity across websites and select ads. That activity is governed by their terms.
Official local routes include the Lawrence County court portal and the Sheriff’s website.
Who Might See Your Data
The site does not sell personal data. Information may be received by:
- Search partners that process queries submitted through their tools.
- Analytics services that report site traffic and performance.
- Advertising networks that place ads on the pages.
- Law enforcement or government offices when a valid legal order requires it.
How We Protect Your Data
Standard security practices are used to protect information the site receives. Internet services cannot be guaranteed free of risk, so the operator cannot promise that a security incident will never occur.
Users Under 18
The site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from people under 18. If the operator learns that a minor submitted personal information, it will be removed. Tennessee juvenile court files also have separate confidentiality rules and are not ordinary public search material.
Your Data Rights
You may ask what visitor information the site holds about you, request a correction, ask that information be deleted, or opt out of certain data processing where applicable. A search query sent directly to a third-party provider may need to be addressed under that provider’s own policy.
Tennessee Code Annotated § 10-7-503, the Tennessee Public Records Act, concerns access to records held by public offices. It does not govern visitor data held by this private site. Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 34 concerns public access to court records, not this site’s analytics.
- Ask for a copy of information the operator holds about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate information.
- Ask for deletion where applicable.
- Object to or opt out of certain processing where the law allows.
Updates to This Policy
The policy may change as site practices change. A revised version will be posted here with a new effective date. Review this page from time to time if you want to know how visitor information is handled.
